Low-Life David Letterman on Foosis’ Blog

by admin | June 20th, 2009

I am a father. My daughter is now thirty one years old. If anyone said anything about my adult daughter along the lines of David Letterman’s low life attack I do not think I would have shown the restraint Sarah Palin did. Age of the offspring has little to do with this perspective. I can tell you, as can all responsible parents, protecting your offspring is foremost when you accept the job of building a family. NO ONE and I mean NO ONE has the social right to attack anyone’s child as a vehicle of slamming the parent…. period!

As an American David Letterman surely does in essence, and by definition of being an American, have the Constitutional right to say whatever he wants. David Letterman forgot his responsibility as an American to act responsibly and respect one of the unspoken rules of decent society… leave the family alone!

I personally am damned sick and tired of people excusing so-called comedians of vial verbiage because they are comedians. I understand some are of the opinion comedians are held to a different set of standards than the rest of us. I think however such a stance is nothing more than another example of the left’s inconsistent stance on about every subject under the sun. Their inconsistency is their only consistency.

— The left believes torture is wrong when used on an enemy but injecting the uterine home of an unborn baby with saline (salt solution) causing untold pain and misery while dying is OK. You don’t believe salt would physically hurt an unborn human? Try putting salt on one of your wounds that has yet had the chance to toughen by the air we breath. It truly is incredible pain.

– The left billed it as constitutionally wrong for George Bush to tap phone calls coming to this country as a method of identifying potential terrorist insurgent plots but… The same narrow minded self serving philosophy has no problem with Barack Obama “purchasing” the lion’s share of up-to-that-point privately owned American corporations. In some twisted way the “purchase” is OK and not a socialist takeover because it was not a forced takeover.  I suspect the lefties were smacked up-side the head with a lead pipe half way through their decision process while they contemplated supporting such an un-American stance.

Along the same inconsistent lines; I now return to Loser Letterman…

Then we find the left supporting low-life-David Letterman’s attack on Sarah Palin using her daughters as weapons. Was the attack illegal or unconstitutional? Of course not. Loser Letterman just showed his low-life status one more time. The inconsistency? The left recognizes Low life Letterman’s right to free speech while at the same time truly condemn myself and those of similar mind to our right to free speech based solely on the fact we openly voice our opposition to the current unconstitutional path we find ourselves with the current administration.

Over the years upstanding moral faith based Americans have generated a certain set of unwritten socially accepted actions. While I’m not going to attempt, “Foosis’ Guide to Etiquette and Proper Behavior,” here in this post, I do recognize such an unwritten set of rules for decent folks does exist. The key phrase of course is decent folks. These unwritten rules do not care what the occupation of the speaker is. The rules do not care about race, religion, or region. The rules apply to all. Letterman’s comedic status does not socially allow him to attack someone’s offspring… period.

As a prelude to finishing I wish to mention there are good decent folks and there are lowlife humans… we all know this. There are good folks who live in trailers and there are bad as is the case with every other type of dwelling. There are good and decent poor folks; there are the good and decent wealthy.

David Letterman and those of his ilk are nothing but over paid low-life trailer trash slime that have no place walking in decent society. Those that support his attacks because they were developed as part of his “act” as a comedian are no more than a couple steps behind him in the world of human rubbish. Decent folks are offended by trashy actions; they do not revel in the mire.

Does David Letterman have the right to act any way he chooses? Again I say as an American he certainly does. Decent Americans just need to exercise their God given American right to take him off the air by not tuning in.

On another note: Had this been a Conservative attacking a Liberal there would be a movement for Government intervention to control this as another example free speech not being what it’s cracked up to be in their minds. The two different methods of controlling trash is but one more example of the need to preserve America as it was intended.
